One of the favorite destinations for many, are the amusement parks. Going to one of them is quite an experience, but what you may not know is that there was one whose attractions and water slides were so dangerous that it was nicknamed " The park of accidents ".
Virtually endless water slides, with twists and turns that made visitors queue for hours to enjoy the experience . The only downside was that, after so many turns, there was no visitor who didn't come out with at least a bloody nose or several bruises on his body . The same thing happened in the pools of the enclosure, where lifeguards worked tirelessly to save more than twenty people a day. With so many accidents, it became the most dangerous theme park in the United States : Action Park , which opened its doors in Vernon (New Jersey) in 1978, with the idea of wanting to become a symbol among modern theme parks.
─ continue reading ➝my parents used to go there when they were kids since it's only a little bit away from long island! my mom says she doesn't remember it being dangerous. my dad on the other hand definitely went on some questionable rides... my stepmom was very young when she went there and doesn't remember that much.
